Chrissie Hynde of The Pretenders
The Pretenders played Sheffield City Hall in May 1982, and a review in Hullfire (The University of Hull student newspaper) featured the first two photos below, which I had taken earlier at a Hull University gig. According to my contact print sheet, this was on Thursday 7th of February, 1980. UB40 were the support group!
